 Amazon has suspended Roy Price, the top of its film and TV present division, amid allegations he made undesirable sexual advances towards a feminine producer in Hollywood.

Price, the top of Amazon Studios, was accused of lewdly propositioning Isa Dick Hackett, a producer on “The Man in the High Castled,” throughout an interview revealed Thursday by The Hollywood Reporter. Hackett, a daughter of the late science fiction author and “High Castle” writer Philip Okay. Dick, stated in the course of the interview that Price repeatedly made undesirable sexual advances towards her after a dinner two years in the past at Comic-Con in San Diego.

“Roy Price is on a leave of absence effective immediately,” an Amazon spokesman stated in an announcement, including that, “we are reviewing our options for the projects we have with The Weinstein Co.”

Scrutiny on Hollywood executives has intensified since an Oct. 5 New York Times story first dropped at gentle sexual harassment allegations in opposition to Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein denies all allegations of nonconsensual sex however has stated he is getting counseling. 

Earlier Thursday, actress Rose McGowan reported that her Twitter account had been suspended after she spent a number of days tweeting in regards to the allegations in opposition to Weinstein, whom she has accused of raping her.  In her tweets — directed at Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos — she stated she instructed Price in regards to the incident.

@jeffbezos I instructed the top of your studio that HW raped me. Over & over I stated it. He stated it hadn’t been confirmed. I stated I used to be the proof,” McGowan wrote in a tweet.

Twitter tweeted about the suspension, explaining that McGowan’s account had been locked as a result of considered one of her tweets included a personal telephone quantity, which violated the corporate’s phrases of service.
