Lyft introduced a new characteristic of the Lyft Driver app right now known as Lyft Navigation. Lyft Navigation is constructed with Google Maps and is accessed proper from the Driver app.

There is now not a necessity for drivers to be switching forwards and backwards between the navigation app and the Lyft driver app between choosing up new riders or taking a detour to choose up a carpooler throughout a Lyft Line journey.

Lyft says this can be a win-win for drivers and passengers alike. Once riders hop in, they are often on the highway simply moments faster because the driver doesn’t need to fiddle with getting the instructions proper.

Lyft Navigation, constructed with Google Maps is now rolling out for Android with iOS accessible “coming quickly”.
